Mike Sizemore is an award winning writer based in London and LA.
His two volume kids adventure, FETCH recently won the INDIES Book of the Year award as “One of the most outstanding works representing a significant contribution to the literary landscape”
His other graphic novels include the horror science fiction epic John Carpenter’s VORTEX. and the ongoing series John Carpenter’s TALES FOR A HALLOWEEN NIGHT for which he is a regular contributor.
He is the creator of the ‘best tv show never made’, SLINGERS, the WGA nominated and award winning web series CAPER, and the ‘Have Gun, Will Time-Travel’ MERICA ADAMS.
He also adapted HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE for the London stage to much acclaim and wrote the libretto for the opera THE NIGHT BRIDE which premiered in Vienna and was also based on his comic book of the same name.
He has been a professional writer for 25 years and has had many short stories and non fiction pieces on film, TV and culture published in that time.
He currently lives in London with his partner Jess and their two children, Connor and Jaime, a lone surviving Norwegian Forest Cat and an idiot of a Border Collie.
When not spending time in Los Angeles trying to make things explode on your screens Mike writes the irregular weekly newsletter, MIDNIGHT QUATERMASS.
He’s a member of both the WGAW and The Society of Authors and has a BA in Classical & English Literature and an MA in Postmodern Detective Fiction & Westerns which, surprisingly, he finds the occasional use for.
