IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE,
BLOGS WILL NO LONGER EXIST.
BUT THERE WILL BE
I’m old enough to remember when blogrolls were a thing and it doesn’t sit right with me that no one uses them anymore.
I had one on my first hand-coded website in the 90s and by gollygosh I aim to have one here in the future.
Below are a list of websites that I visit regularly and perhaps you’ll get a kick out of some of them too…
Cherrysheriff
Dave Kennedy. Best advice I ever got was from Duncan Jones. He told me to “get a gang”. Dave is the artist.
Stormking Productions
Sandy & John. I’m lucky to call them friends and we have a lot of fun together.
John Carpenter
John is the fucking man.
Soundfackery
Steve and I were in a band as kids and lost touch for 18 years only to find out we’re still in a band together. The best.
Warren Ellis Ltd
Warren and I once attended the UK’s first flashmob and occupied a bed store. He’s one of the reasons I’m here.
Rob Hinchcliffe
Rob and I used to write for his website, Londonist, and wrote a book together. One of the good guys.
Cam Kennedy Art
Cam is a legend. His work in 2000AD (and many more) had a huge impact on my life.
BAMF Style
For when you need to know the exact trench coat that Max von Sydow wears in THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR.
Billy Abbot
An old friend and a renowned whisky expert. If we get to choose what to do with our time here then Billy chose well.
